MANILA, Philippines – Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte said he sees an opportunity to start sea exercises with Indonesia and Malaysia in collaboration with them to counter Chinese threats and terrorism.
Duterte said that as a part of joint drills the two countries would take their own military options, includ더킹카지노ing ballistic missiles and maritime patrol ships.
Duterte’s comment came after the two countries are currently holding joint exercises.
Duterte said that during his campaign, he had promised to expand the «battles» with China.
He said he will increase the size of their forces and the number of naval vessels they have to maintain.
«I am committed to the principle of having more bases of armed forces,» he said.
Duterte said he wants to expand the area of sea area in order to guard all the other countries and they have made no further comment on the matter.
